Privacy Policy
Find a Time Chrome Extension — Last updated April 2026
Find a Time helps you draft meeting availability replies in Gmail using AI and Google Calendar. We designed it to process your data locally and transiently — we do not store your email content.
What we collect
- Google account identity — your email address and Google user ID, used to identify your account and track usage.
- Usage counts — the number of replies drafted per month, to enforce free-tier limits.
- Reply quality ratings — optional thumbs up/down feedback you submit after inserting a reply.
What we do NOT store
- Email body content, subject lines, or sender information. These are sent transiently to Claude AI to generate a reply draft and are never persisted.
- Calendar event details beyond free/busy time intervals, which are used only to compute available slots.
- Your Anthropic API key, if you use Bring Your Own Key mode. It is stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to our servers.
How your data is used
Email content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to detect meeting intent and draft a reply. We pass the minimum necessary context. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle API inputs — see anthropic.com/privacy.
Google Calendar free/busy data is fetched in real time and never stored. Google's privacy policy governs your calendar data — see policies.google.com/privacy.
Usage counts and account tier are stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the United States) to enforce free-tier limits and process billing.
Google OAuth scopes
calendar.readonly — to read free/busy intervals only. We do not read event titles or attendees.userinfo.email / userinfo.profile — to identify your account for usage tracking.
Data retention and deletion
Usage records are retained to enforce monthly limits and billing history. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
